GTA 6 costs $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. Pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026, and every pre-order gets the Vintage Vice City Pack.

Is the Ultimate Edition worth it?
Because you can upgrade from Standard to Ultimate at any time, the safe move is to buy Standard and upgrade once you know whether the bonus items matter to you. The Ultimate content is cosmetic and convenience items. It doesn’t unlock extra story. If you already know you want everything on day one, Ultimate saves you a second purchase.
The Vintage Vice City pre-order bonus
Pre-order either edition and you get the Vintage Vice City Pack at launch, with retro items that nod to the 1980s-era Vice City from the series’ past. Rockstar hasn’t announced whether the pack will be sold separately after launch.

How much does GTA 6 cost?
The Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99 (US prices).
What is the GTA 6 pre-order bonus?
Everyone who pre-orders, on either edition, gets the Vintage Vice City Pack when the game launches on November 19, 2026. It adds retro 1980s-inspired items that nod to the original Vice City.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Ultimate later?
Yes. You can upgrade to the Ultimate Edition at any time, including after launch, so buying Standard now doesn’t lock you out.
Does the $399.99 Vice City Collection include the game?
No. The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is merchandise only (a Macca the Gator figure, apparel and accessories). GTA 6 is sold separately.
Is there a physical disc?
Reports say the physical retail version is a code in a box rather than a disc. Check the retailer listing before you buy if a disc matters to you.
