No GTA 6 cheat codes have been confirmed yet. Every mainline GTA since GTA III has had cheats, so they’re very likely. We’ll test each one in-game and publish the verified PS5 and Xbox list here from launch day.
Beware of fake cheats. Any site or video listing “GTA 6 cheats” before launch is guessing or copying GTA 5 codes. Never download “cheat tools” or give out your account details for “money generators”. They’re scams.

The cheats players want most
Based on what previous GTA games offered. These are expectations, not confirmed GTA 6 cheats.
- Invincibility: A staple in every 3D GTA, including GTA 5’s “Painkiller”.
- Max health & armor: Present in every mainline GTA since GTA III.
- Weapons & ammo: GTA 5’s “Tool Up” gave every weapon.
- Raise / lower wanted level: Standard in GTA 3D-era games.
- Spawn vehicles: GTA 5 let you spawn the Buzzard, Comet, BMX and more.
- Change weather: Available in GTA 5 and earlier games.
- Slow motion aim: A GTA 5 favourite for shootouts.
- Unlimited money: The most-searched cheat, but no mainline GTA has ever had one. Very unlikely.
How cheats are likely to work
In GTA 5 you could enter cheats in two ways: as button combinations on the controller, or by dialling a number on the in-game phone. Cheats worked in story mode only, and using one turned off trophies and achievements for that session. GTA 6 hasn’t confirmed its method yet. Keep a separate save for cheating just in case.

Does GTA 6 have cheat codes?

Is there a GTA 6 money cheat?
Almost certainly not. No mainline GTA has ever had an unlimited money cheat, and anyone selling or promising one is running a scam.
Do cheats disable trophies in GTA 6?
Unconfirmed. In GTA 5, using a cheat disabled trophies and achievements for that session. Expect something similar, and keep a separate save for cheating.
Will GTA 6 cheats work online?
GTA 6 launches as a single-player game. Historically, cheats have never worked in GTA Online.
How did cheats work in GTA 5?
In GTA 5 you entered cheats as button sequences on the controller or by dialling special numbers on the in-game phone. GTA 6 may use similar methods.
